Founded company
After graduating from university, RODA Technology was founded by Jack Minchin to provide software solutions to small businesses whilst studying for his master's degree.
Completed first project
We completed our first project for Custom Group Ltd, a small business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The project was a success and we have continued to work with them across a number of projects.
Expanded team
We have since expanded our team to include a Junior Software Developer and Assistant Software Developer, who have both been instrumental in the success of our projects.
Launched new website
We launched our new website to showcase our work and attract new clients. The website was designed and built in-house by our team.

Jack Minchin
Director
Jack Minchin is the founder and director of RODA Technology Ltd, a company specializing in creating websites, custom software, dashboards, and e-commerce solutions tailored to meet business needs. After graduating from university, Jack established RODA Technology in September 2020 to provide software solutions to small businesses while pursuing his master's degree. Under his leadership, the company completed its first project for Custom Group Ltd in April 2021 and has since expanded its team to include additional software developers. Jack's commitment to innovation and client satisfaction has been instrumental in the company's rapid growth and success.
Liam Butterick
Junior Software Developer
Liam Butterick is a Software Developer for RODA Technology, graduating from the University Of Birmingham's School of Computer Science. Liam specializes in maintaining and expanding front-end and back-end web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Nest, Azure, and MongoDB. He additionally has many years of personal experience in C#, modern VBA, and Windows Application Development. His focus in work is creating satisfying User Experience within software that clients can understand and use easily. In his free time, Liam enjoys furthering his programming capabilities with personal projects centred around Video Game development, he also enjoys travelling abroad, and making music.
Josh Kwong
I am J. Kwong, an Assistant Software Developer at Roda Technology Ltd, passionate about building innovative solutions. My journey began with self-taught coding during my early academic years, a drive that continues to shape my work today. At Roda, I contribute to developing impactful software while expanding my technical expertise. Next year, I will further my studies at university, focusing on artificial intelligence, decentralized systems, and system architecture. For me, software development is more than a career—it's a pursuit of innovation and problem-solving to shape the future.
